Thank you for enrolling in the workshop ' Thinking Globally: Effective Lessons for Teaching about the Interdependent World Economy'. The workshop will take place on September 26th, 2009 from 9: 00 am to 5. 00 p. m. at International Communication Center of Yale University.

We plan to spend a valuable and exciting day reviewing lessons for teaching international economics in vocational schools. Some of the topics we will be covering are globalization, comparative advantage, what makes some nations wealthy, exchange rates, and the role of international agencies such as the IMF.Note that we have scheduled a reception at the end of the workshop with fooD.Because we have on ambitious agenda and many teachers enrolled from a wide geographical area, we hope you will be able to stay for the reception to talk to us, to get to know one another and to share ideas.
