China is to work out a national (36) regulation to safeguard healthier nutrition (37) and ensure food safety among all of its 1.3 billion population.
The country could also establish a national nutrition working committee, a planned ministerial government department to (38) the development and healthy growth of the sector.
The regulation. which has been in the (39) for more than a year and is now under (40) by the Ministry of Health, will be submitted to the State Council for (41) later this year and could be put into place early next year, according to Zhang Chengyu, assistant counsel of the Department of Health Policy and (42) under the Ministry of Health.
It will become the country’s (43) following some previously released rulings to protect food safety in China.
The new regulation is aimed at (44) in order to have a better nutrition supply and intake, said Zhang.
