47507 Aspects of further training in automation in the
new German states R. Lederer ( Siemens AG, Nuremberg,
Germany). Eng. Aurora(Germany), vol. 15, no. 2. P. 39-41 ( March
- April 1993). Since reunification, an enormous structural
change has been taking place in East German industry. Its purpose has been to
build a feasible, market-related industrial base in today’s new states of the
Federal Republic of Germany. Many factors need to be taken into account in the
development of sound company concepts forming part of this difficult process.
Particular attention must be paid to new manufacturing structures and
technologies. The planning and carryout of further training for employees in the
automation industry thus take on a special significance. (2 refs. ) [ 1
] 47508 Complete training concept for process control
electronics technicians W. R. Teichgraber ( Siemens AG,
Erlangen, Germany). Eng. Autom. ( Germany), vol. 15, no 2. p.
42-3 ( March-April 1993 ). On April 2, 1992, the new German
education and training decree (法令) for the trade of process control electronics
technician was issued by the federal Minister for the Economy and came into
effect from August 1, 1992. This replaced the former trade of instrumentation
and control fitter ( education and training decree dated February 18,1981 ). The
new education and training decree is intended to achieve two important aims: on
the one hand, adaptation of specialist training to the technological changes in
process engineering and, on the other, combination with and adaptation to
electrical trades which have already been reorganised. Siemens offers a complete
education and training concept for imparting the courses for this new training
field. (no refs. ) [ 2 ]. The author of the first abstract is
