W: Well, I have been getting noisy music coming from your apartment and it is always there from 9 o’clock to 12 o’clock in the evening when I am trying to study. Is it possible to turn down and contain your noise to your apartment
M: Oh, I’m sorry about that. I hadn’t been back to my apartment for two weeks and in fact, I just got back today. It must be Jimmy, my new roommate. I forgot to tell him how thin the walls are around here, so it may be my fault.
W: I realize that. Could you have a word with that guy Jimmy and get him to lower the volume, for it is really disturbing It’s not that I don’t enjoy that kind of music. It’s just that.., well you know how it is around this time of the year with midterms and everything.

M: Really, I didn’t know that! That’s selfish of him to do so. Well, Sherry, I’ll give him piece of my mind tonight.
W: I just hope you can settle things peacefully. I don’t want to be the villain causing you guys to have a stir up.
M: Oh, don’t worry. Yeah, it’s not like it’s the most pleasant thing to do and it is not what I want to do, but I want to set the rules clear.
