Do you want to grow with the company but aren’t sure what direction you should take Do you read internal job postings but not apply for jobs because you are not sure how to write a resume or fill in the required application form Do you go for interviews but feel nervous about answering the questions
The Human Resources Department is considering offering two three-hour seminars for employees who would like to learn more about our job posting policy, career planning and job searching techniques. The seminars would be offered on evening or weekends and would cover the following topics.
Session 1 — Career planning
In this session you would learn how to:
● set goals, priorities, and timelines
● document your skills and abilities
● analyze your personality and interests
● determine the type of job that suits you best
● create the learning plan
Session 2 — Job Search Techniques
In this session you would learn how to
● write a great resume
● complete an application form
● develop strong cover letters
● prepare for an interview
● answer common interview questions
