Issac Newton was born on December 25,1642. His father was a farmer who died a few months before he was born and his mother remarried when he was only three years old, so he was brought up by his grandmother. In his childhood Newton liked to ask all kinds of questions. He attended two village schools and, in 1650, he was sent to a grammar school. At the age of 14, he was asked to work on his mother’s farm but he proved to be a poor farmer. Someone suggested that he should go on with his education. Later he went to Cambridge University, where he got to know a famous professor of mathematics. This professor became Issac Newton’s teacher as well as his friend.
