Far from being another listing magazine, Hint presents the lighter side of Shanghai life with a sense of style. Focusing on design, food and lifestyle, we cover everything from taste-testing pasta sauces to revealing the truth behind restaurant reviews, to going on the psychiatrist couch to quit smoking. In short, we go in-depth to reveal the frivolous, fun and the functional Shanghai. Hint is small, compact and the kind of magazine you take with you wherever you go. The Hint editor plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the magazine, working alongside the managing editor and a team of assistants, designers and writers. The editor must be enthusiastic and constantly generating article ideas. Flexibility is a key asset to the team and to the development of the magazine; as such, the candidate must be ready to handle a multitude of tasks. Above all, the candidate must have excellent writing skills, a sense of humour, and be an initiative taker.
