Once a Frenchman (法国人) travelled in England. He didn’t know English very well. One day he went to the post office to send a letter. He bought a stamp and gave it with his letter to the girl at the desk. "Oh, no," the girl said, "You must stick (贴) the stamp on yourself." He was very surprised (惊奇). He didn’t believe (相信) his ears. "Why must I stick the stamp on myself" he asked. "Oh," said the girl, "I mean that you must stick the stamp on the letter. You must do it yourself."
