填空题

Dear Teresa,
I am in my room at Continental Towers at the University of Denver in Colorado. The sun is setting over the Rocky Mountains, and the snow on the Mountains is shinning with a pink and orange glow. From my window, I can also see the lights of the city. They are blue, yellow, and red, and they are flicking on and off. It’s a beautiful view!
It used to make me sad to watch sunsets, but it doesn’t anymore. I still feel a little homesick when I look at them, but now I know that this view outside my window belongs to this part of my life. Soon I am going to leave Denver, too. And I know that I am going to miss this view and this part of my life, also. So I decide not to be sad about sunsets. Instead, I am going to enjoy their beauty from wherever I am. I am going to try to be happy.
I will be home next month during school vacation. At that time, we can share all the happiness and sadness we are feeling.
Yours,
Linda
