The rules for writing an abstract are almost the same to those for writing the summary for an investigation report. In an abstract you make an outline of the problem and state the purpose of your research, give a brief introduction to the procedures，describe the main findings, and make the conclusions. All this must be done in as few words as possible; ideally; your abstract must be about 125 words long and never more than 250 words.
