There are five stages to write a research paper. The first stage may involve discussing the assignment (任务), with the teachers or classmates so that the writer can understand how to research. The next is to do this research by collecting information from the library, or class notes and textbooks. For the third stage, the resulting information must then be grouped as general material and specific support, allowing the writer to prepare a detailed outline for the paper. Once the outline has been set up, the writer can move to the next, and possibly the longest stage: the actual writing paper includes an introduction, body and conclusion. The final stage involves a careful check to avoid errors in logic, style and grammar.
