听力原文:W: Purchasing Department. Can I help you?
M: Hi, Jane, this is Albert Steward from Samuel Publishing House. One of our printers stopped working completely so we have to buy a new one now. We've got tremendous amount of work to do recently.
W: OK, let me see, the same model you bought last time?
M: No, we want to buy a laser printer, this time. That would make our work much easier.
W: Yes, the newest model available now is Canon 510. It is a laser printer and the speed of printing is really fast.
M: How much is the price then?
W: 1,569 dollars, but it saves your expense on ink.
M: I know, but it's still a bit more expensive than we expected. Is there any discount?
W: I think we can only give you a 5% discount at most. So that would be $1,490.
M: Since we need them urgently, I think we'll take this one.
W: OK, shall we have it sent directly to your office?
M: Oh, that would be nice. Is it possible to have them sent over this afternoon?
W: No problem. I'll make a note on the order form. By the way, I'd like to know your method of payment.
M: Well, can I have your account number please? We can transfer from the bank.
W: Sure, it's 39672752, Commercial Bank.
M: OK, thanks a lot, Jane. That's very kind of you.
W: You are welcome. See you then.

&8226;Read the text below from a brochure.&8226;For each question (31-40), write one word in CAPITAL LETTERS on your Answer Sheet. Paragon: great business space A new concept for the twenty-first century, Paragon is a totally unique showpiece development of high-quality office and call centre buildings, hotel and leisure facilities. Many cities find (31) increasingly difficult to allocate office space, but the city of Wakefield is already ahead (32) the game with Paragon. Paragon offers an extensive parkland setting with low-density buildings, and room to expand in the future. Yet, (33) the vast majority of business parks, Paragon has not been exiled to the distant edges of the city. Instead, this large site is only I km from the centre of Wakefield. This offers massive advantages: employees can easily walk or cycle to work, saving stress and pollution, and significantly cutting (34) on commuting time. There is (35) more driving along the motorway to distant outposts of business empires for the Paragon worker. But Paragon's location sacrifices nothing (36) terms of communications. It is perfectly placed for road and rail networks. A further attraction of Wakefield for Paragon is the ready avail- ability of a skilled workforce. (37) are more than 233,000 people available for work within an hour's journey, and an enormous catchment population of 20 million within two hours' travel. The city has a long history (38) an administrative centre, and its recent success in attracting top-name companies is evidence of its solid business credentials. Figures from the developers suggest that up (39) 5,000 jobs could be available in the initial phase of its development, with more to follow, making it (40) of the most significant areas of employment in the region.(31)
